THIS IS REAL LIFE

Growing up i used to think that things are always easy and simple. I used to think that when you are an adult you are more happy because you have what you want, there are no hustles. As i grew older i came to the realization that things are not what i used to think they are. In real life there are real challenges.
In real life you go to school, go to a university get a diploma,or an honours degree and still not get a job, and somehow you are forced to make ends meet in any way possible. In real life you get involved with someone and spend half of you life with someone thinking that he/she is the one, only to find out that he/she is not on the same level as you, he/she considers someone else as their life partner other than you. In real life you get hurt, people laugh at you, people are not always who they say they are.
As you grow older you realize that every man is for him self, you do not have to depend on people to help you, rather depend on your self.
In real life you just have to take things as they come, one step at a time.
In the end we all die because life is life. It is what it is.

ZUMAVILE IS SET TO COST TAX PAYERS NEARLY R240 MILLION

Picture:http://www.citypress.co.za
Zuma's Nkandla homestead.
Nearly R240 million was spent on president Jacob Zuma's Nkandla homestead.DA Parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko said in a statement " The department of public works spending millions on Zuma's private homestead is a serious abuse of tax payers' money by a department which is failing in almost every other key responsibility," .This is a serious concern to the public because their tax money is misused instead of building schools, hospitals in the rural areas it is set to be used in building "Zumavile" which will only benefit him,his family and his associates. What about other provinces that still need these extreme make overs?.Some members of the media have been asking departments to provide information concerning their involvement or financial contribution to the Nkandla Development Project but still there was no response from the department. The DA wants the public protector to investigate further on the Nkandla project. The investigation will focus on whether the money for the project has not been transferred from other projects that need the fund the most. The DA's out rage came after a report in the City Press stated that Zuma would only be footing five percent of the bill, which amounted to around R10,6 million. The Nkandla project includes the building of a helipad, underground bunkers and fencing around the entire complex.According to a public works memorandum sent to former public works minister Gwen Mahlangu-Nkabinde on March 28 last year, a “planning instruction” was issued to provide “security measures in line with Cabinet regulations” to Zuma’s compound. The purpose of the memorandum, written by Durban regional manager Kenneth Khanyile, was to clarify the“apportionment of cost between (the) state’s responsibility and (the) private (cost to the owner)”.
the scope of the work was divided as follows :
  •  The “public (state’s) portion: R203 079 677.18”; and
  •  The “private (owner’s) portion: R10 651 580.64”.

Our President Mr Jabob Zuma.
most of the work including extensive landscaping of Zumas residential compound feel out of scope. Now what does that say about the department of public works? this shows that there is something wrong about how the money was being used. Why would some of the important parts be left out in the memorandum? DA will not rest until they find answers. Looking at  PRP's point of view this is perceived  as bad publicity by the president because there is still censorship of information  on how the project is run.Our president is using the public money to build his own place in Nkandla. He deprives money from projects that are so desperately in need to boost job creation and fight poverty. This proves that our president is denying the real challenges that are facing SA on a daily basis. It is immoral to rob the public on a day light.

IMAGINE SA IF MALEMA EVER CAME TO POWER

Picture:http://www.timeslive.co.za
Expelled ANC president Julius Malema in court.
Imagine what this country will be like if Julius Malema became president. May this day never down in our life time, or that of our children. These are the words reported to have been said by Mthembu on Wednesday (26-09-2012). This was after Malema was in court charged with money laundering and he was granted bail of 10 000. Malema said that this is just a minor case and is ready to answer any questions that may be asked. The case was postponed until November. Malema is corrupting this country that has suffered so much, and is tainting our government. He should have never been an ANC member because he is a bad person and will continue being that person. He does not have the qualities of becoming the president or a leader. Malema still needs to be taught from good human principles to how to be a good president. He is not ready. Malema's actions show how hungry he is for power in the presidency. South Africa does not need such candidates. This country needs people whose purpose is to serve its public, not people whose mission is to make fun of other people, hiding behind the fact that they have the right to freedom of expression. It a public relations practitioner job to make sure that we shape the perceptions of the public in any way possible, this includes revealing to the public who really who malema is and for what he really is. Mthembu further said that “Malema is too factious; he thinks he is everything. He might support a leader now, but he'll do a complete about face with in the three years”. With his statement he was referring to the days where Julius used to say he would kill for Zuma, and now he is killing Zuma. What kind of a leader that goes around calling people names? We do not need such people in our country. In December 2012 the ANC will host a conference in Mangaung, this conference will determine whether Jacob Zuma will be a president for the second term or not. So far chances of him making it to the second term are very few rather slim. This is due to Julies Malema campaigning for an anti Jacob Zuma platform, and this has had more members since it started. This conference however will include the process of auditing branches, nominating of delegates, and nominating of candidates for all national executive committee position.

The president of SA Jacob Zuma.

People put a blame on Jacob Zuma for Julius actions. They say that he has created this monster and now it has turned against him.Our country deserves better than this. We want to groom our children to a country that has a future and with Julius on board there is no future for our country or for our children.

MALEMA HAS NO LEADERSHIP CREDIBILITY:SURVEY

Expelled ANC Youth Legue Julius Malema
Picture:http://www.timeslive.co.za

Expelled ANC Youth League Julius Malema does not have the ability to be a future leader in South Africa, this is according to a survey by the reputation institute released on Friday(14-09-2012).Malema could not be seen as an 'instigator of widespread unrest, said Dominik Heil, the managing director of the reputation institute SA.The survey found that Malema had failed to build an emotional bond with South Africans, which would allow him to get support among the country's lowest income earners."Malema's rating in the leadership survey was the lowest of any global leader ever surveyed by the Reputation Institute," he said in a statement.Malemas continuous presence in the public eye adds the potential to seriously damage the reputation of SA, and was also a threat to stability. The country's reputation is based on whether people believe its people are friendly and welcoming."Malema's actions undermine the international community's confidence in South Africa as a welcoming, friendly and constructive country," he said.

Julius Malema argues with the police at the Wonderkop staduim
Picture:http://www.timeslive.co.za

"The fear and panic that has ensued is unwarranted, since he has no leadership credibility and is therefore unlikely to get people to heed his calls to action." on Monday (17-09-2012) Malema was denied access to an event at Wonderkop stadium. This is where miners gathered to be briefed on developments about their wage, after such along time striking for a rise in their wage. Malema said that his car was in a convoy of four at the staduim. His first two cars entered, but his car was stopped and searched ,he was then chased out. Malem said that the police threatened to shoot him. After a long discussion Malema left and was escorted by about ten police vans,a police helicopter hovering overhead, and police on foot patrol ran to points of entry to the stadium, ready to stop him if he turned back.Heil said that the incident proved that malema did not have the support base to justify the media's coverage of him. The media needed to focus attention on more crucial issues. He further said that this only demonstrate how disconnected the political elites and the mainstream media are from the realities of ordinary South Africans.SA is better off without Julius Malema as the president,a whole lot of things would be distroyed, and chances of apartheid coming back would be very high, because he does not like white poeple.

GOVERNEMNT IS CONSIDERING TO MOVE AGAINST MALEMA

picture:http://www.timeslive.co.za
Jullius Malema and Jacob Zuma in happy times
Government is considering moving against expelled ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema. This was suggested by Jacob Zuma on Thursday(13-09-2012). Julius Malema has always been known as being someone who is open who is not afraid to challenge anyone. He is perceived as a good persuader.  Julius Malema used to say he will kill for Zuma and now he is killing Zuma. The government has had enough of Julius and now wants to move him. This all began after he interfered in the Marikana massacre. Telling miners that they should down tool until their demands have been meet, and asking the NUM to step down. Malema is playing on people’s emotions. He used the plat form as an anti-Zuma plat form. This has since generated interest around the nation and government feels that actions should be taken against such people. Jacob Zuma responded to the question of marikana tragedy by saying that “activities that are not acceptable, that were fomenting tension and unrest in the mining industry government were looking at these." and I have engaged with the ministers concerned, to discuss how do we deal with this issue. And very soon we will be able to let the public know. Because it can no longer be accepted. Zuma, in an apparent reference to Malema, who earlier this week called on mine workers to engage in a mass national strike, said it was not just the striking miners who were engaged in such unacceptable activity. “It is also some people of some description who are going there to instigate miners to operate in a particular way. It cannot be accepted. And therefore we are looking into that; we are going to be acting very soon," he said. He was then asked about what he was going to do about the uncontrolled Julius Malema whom he created; Zuma laughed and said he did not create such person. He further said that he shouldn't be blamed for somebody who has some characteristic of his own. It's not his fault. He never participated in the production of such a person," Zuma said, to jeers from opposition benches. On Wednesday(12-09-2012) at the Lenasia Recreation Centre, south of Johannesburg Malema addressed 40 of more than 1000 soldiers suspended after a protest at the Union Buildings in Pretoria in 2009.Malema said that South Africa is a banana republic that does not follow the rule of law. “We must respect the courts, but the leadership of this banana republic disrespects the courts. "He said government had not followed court orders in three instances.
  •  It did not provide the Democratic Alliance the evidence in the case against President Jacob Zuma,
  • Had not delivered textbooks,
  • And was not re-instating 1100 soldiers put on special leave for marching at the Union Buildings in 2009.

SA National Defence force in johannesburg
"Your Commander in Chief [Zuma] is engaged in other things. You are a lesser priority. All of us are a lesser priority," Malema said. “I don't know what is a priority to him, maybe getting married every year. He specialises on that one. Maybe that is what is going right for him. If this country were to have Malema as the president many people will suffer and this country will lose its dignity. Because he does not think before he talks always using the situations to suite his need of exploiting government.SA National Defence Force is seeking legal advice on what charges could be brought against Malema.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE TURNED INTO AN ANTI-ZUMA PLATFORM

Jullius Malema at the memorial service.Picture:http://www.iol.co.za/
The expelled ANC Youth League president Jullius Malema turned the memorial service into an anti-Jacob Zuma platform. The memorial service of the 34 mine workers who died during the strike was held in marikana yesterday.Malema addressed the assembled mourners by saying that the government has failed its people and has called for Zuma to leave the presidency. "The government has turned into a pig" said Malema " It eats its own people". Malema accused the Marikana tradegy inter-ministerial committees of not doing enough for the workers. The committee is led by minister in the presidency Collins Chabane. The ANC ministers were unable to respond to the allegations by malema. He further said that they only attended the memorial service for publicity purposes. Several ministers could not bear what was said by malema and left the service early. The ministers included :
  • Siyabonga Cwele (intelligence)
  • Collins Chabane
  • Nosiviwe Mapasa-Nqakula (defencer0
  • Aaron Motsoded (health)

North West premier Thandi Madis and others had to be escorted out of the venue." I want to thank the combrades from the friend of the Youth League because they paid for this tent.Your government did not pay for anything to assist you.The only reason they are here is to pose for the cameras to ensure it can be recorded that they were here" he said.Malema called for the mine workers to be nationalised." We are here with you.You must soldier on.Never listen to cowards. On Tuesday Malema accused Zuma of being a weak leader, meaning the way they handled the matter was not good enough, he also blamed the presidents administration for allowing the police to use real guns to shoot the miners." They will be removed from their positions" he said. The memorial service lost its purpose, and turned into a chaos as an unidentified man was escorted into the tent and greeted Malema before he could grab the microphone to call for Zuma's resignation." Jullius Malema is the president of the ANC.Stand up so they can see you" he said before being chased off the stage. The service was supposed to be held in honer of the victims of the police shootings not the time for pointing fingers as to who is responsible, and calling people names.

POLITICAL PARTIE'S CALL FOR URGENT INVESTIGATION

Picture:http://www.news24.com
Armed mine workers protesting
Political partie's call for urgent investigation after strike ended in bloodshed yesterday in Rusternburg. Mine workers embarked on an illegal strike that has been going on for days, and violence erupted. It is estimated that since the strike began a number of 10 people and more have died.“The loose of even one worker is always one life too many, but the killing of 10 people is a tragedy of epic proportions”ANC spokesperson Khusela Sangoni-Khawe said in a statement. About 3000 operators downed tools in an illegal strike and began protesting. The protest are believed to be linked to rivalry between two unions the national union of mine workers(NUM) and the association of mine workers and construction union(AMCU) over recognition agreement at the mine. Workers demanded a wage hike. They claim that they are earning R4000 a month, with those leaving outside the hostel earning R1000 extra. Reported demands have included pay of R12 500 a month. Striking mineworkers were armed with machetes, pangas, and rocks. There were 400 police officers called to patrol the village, and monitor the mine workers, but that did not seem to stop the mine workers from embarking on an illegal strike. On Thursday (16-08-2012) it was reported that there was a shootout between police and sticker’s .The shootout left over 30 people dead. The political parties namely:
·         ANC
·         IFP
·         COPE
·         DA

Police officers during the shooting of mine workers
Have called for an investigation by an independent body into what started the killings at the Lanmin mine in Marika in the North West. ANC spokesperson Jackson Mthembu said the ANC was shocked about what happened. "All of us feel very saddened by the violence we have seen on television," he said. Democratic Alliance said it was shocked and appalled by what had happened at Lonmin."We call on union leaders, the police and everyone else involved to immediately work towards a de-escalation of the conflict," the party said. "The families of everyone involved, and indeed the nation, deserve to know how and why this bloodshed occurred," it said. The Azanian People's Organisation compared the violence in Marikana to the Sharpeville and Soweto shootings. “As Azapo we can only describe the situation as a massacre not different from March 21, 1960 in Sharpeville; June 16, 1976 in Soweto and June 17, 1992 in Boipatong," the party said. People who are involved in the shooting are to be suspended from work. The shooting took the nation by shock and it raised to questions of could there have been a better way to prevent this blood shared? Whom to blame for this chaos, the mine workers who embarked on an illegal strike armed with machets,or the police who were to monitor the situation that got out of had?or the two unions?.The matter is still investigated.for more infor http://www.news24.com/RelatedGalleryItemModal.aspx?type=image&id=cb83a5cb-2b76-4dc4-9c95-76a27d2757de&itemNum=0&iframe
